Marketing & Sales Supervisor (Division: Paint & Construction)

Purpose:

  • To research and develop various marketing strategies for products and services
  • To implement marketing plans and operates to meet sales budget
  • To track marketing and sales data and identifies areas of improvement

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Related Fields (would be an advantage)

  • At least 5 years’ experience in chemical business
  • Highly organized and responsible in nature
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing, in both Thai and English
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Ability to deal with business partners effectively
  • Ability to think critically and analyze efficiently
  • Stress tolerance and work equally well independently and in teams

Job Description:

Managing Sales Staff: 

  • Contribute information, ideas and research to help develop marketing strategies
  • Helps to detail, design and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
  • Sets marketing schedules and coordinate with colleagues, representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
  • Guide, motivate the sales team and allocates tasks accordingly
  • Coaching sales employees and boost their competence
  • Help interview, manage and direct members of the company's marketing and sales teams
  • Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures

 

Coordinating Sales Activities:

  • Oversee sales activities aimed at increasing sales
  • Answers questions from business partners about product and service benefits
  • Determine what products to shelf at various points
  • Ensure sufficient stock of various products and that products are priced correctly
  • Maintains excellent relationships with business partners through superior customer service
  • Attends trade shows and travel to meet clients 

Compiling Sales Reports:

  • Track sales data and work to meet sales team goals 
  • Compile data using variety of parameters, ranging from product sales in various markets to performance of individual sales representatives and customer complaints
  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies and information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Evaluate performance of various products and make sound business decisions

Resolving Customer Complaints:

  • Quick resolution of customer complaints, crucial to enhance customer loyalty
  • Highlight measures undertaken to avoid occurrence of similar incident
